The House From the moment that you arrive at the gateway and catch the aroma of the one thousand lavender bushes that line the driveway to this beautiful 22 acre estate, life just seems to take on a different pace. The house itself sits peacefully on the edge of the hillside catching the sun as it travels on its daily journey across this breathtakingly beautiful valley. Watch the sun set over Avignon, with the hauntingly beautiful and foreboding Giant of Provence, Mont Ventoux to the North.

Look out for the vibrant colours of the lavender fields of Sault to the East. Most beautiful of all see the sun each morning as it rises and lights the Ancient ramparts of the village of Venasque just across the valley. This is unspoilt and still relatively undiscovered Provence at it’s most beautiful.There is such an air of tranquility that you have no choice but to relax as you meander across the lawn to the sun terrace. As you laze by the pool the gentle hum of the bees working steadily on the lavender honey is hypnotic. If you prefer a more contemporary sound there is of course the pool sound system. Although there is so much to explore in the surrounding region it is very hard to leave the estate with the many acres to walk or cycle alongside the vines and the lavender.

There is always plenty for the younger members of the party to do including the games room, the Petanque court and of course the pool. The house itself is spacious, light and airy with a carefully considered mixture of traditional Provence alongside every comfort and luxury you could possibly need. Sympathetically buit in true Provencal traditions the layout is both unique and spectacular from the large traditional kitchen fitted with every modern convenience to each of the pretty bedrooms that have wonderful views and beds that are deliciously comfortable at the end of a hard day of relaxing.
